Beach Cutie

We have had lots of firsts around the house this month and one of the most fun for all was Faegan's first trip to the beach. We went to the beautiful beaches of Fort Morgan, AL to christen this future beach bum. Of course, she loved it and is already asking us when we are going to take her back. 

Faegan was wonderful on the long ride down and didn't make peep the whole six hour trip until it was time for her to eat. She continues to amaze us with how content she is. Although she was perfect on the trip down, she was a little excited to finally get to the beach and out of her carseat! 

I have discovered that beach vacations are vastly different when you have a little one in tow. I didn't spend as much time on the beach as I usually do, but we did put on our suits and head down to the ocean a couple of times. Faegan, of course, stole the show with her pink ruffle swimsuit.

She wasn't super crazy about the hot, but she definitely has the whole napping on the beach thing in the bag.

Ben went fishing each morning as the sun came up and he caught some lunch for us on this particular morning. This is him pictured with a Pompano. He cooked them for us and they were absolutely delicious!

Of course we had to have some pictures of Faegan in her beach garb. Blair had this cute little outfit too, but unfortunately hers was lost on the beach trip where she wore it. I found this one on sale before Faegan was born and snatched it up. I was so happy she was able to wear it while she was at the beach.

 We always love spending time with Grandma. She spoils us rotten!
